About Veralix Map
A small publishing project covering one narrow subject: why researching a trip now takes longer than it used to, and what changes when you can describe what you want instead of searching for it.
Why this website exists
There has never been more travel information and it has never been harder to act on. A search returns ranked links, not a plan. Reviews contradict each other, a guide written three years ago still sits near the top, and a “top ten” list has no idea how fast you like to travel. The work of turning all of that into a Tuesday afternoon falls back on you.
We are a consumer information website. We do not build, host, licence, sell or support any travel assistant ourselves, and we do not sell flights, accommodation or any other travel product.
The product category we cover
Our coverage focuses on conversational travel assistants — tools you describe a trip to in plain language, which answer with tailored suggestions and arrange them into a day-by-day plan. Layla is the product featured on our homepage.
This is a category where honest expectation-setting matters. An assistant produces a well-organised starting point at speed; it is not a local, and it is not a booking confirmation. Opening hours change, venues close for the season, and a generated plan is worth checking before you build a day around it. We say so consistently, because a reader who treats a suggestion as a reservation is a reader we have failed.

Our editorial approach
Claims we will not make
No invented statistics, no fabricated user counts, no rankings we cannot substantiate, and no countdown timers or manufactured scarcity. If a figure is not something we can point to, it does not appear on the page.
How we frame products
Featured products are described in terms of what they are designed to do, with the caveats attached. We use words like “may” and “varies” when those are the honest words, even where a stronger one would convert better.
Advertising, disclosed up front
Our homepage article is a paid advertorial and is labelled as one at the very top of the page, above the header, before any content. Nothing about that arrangement is buried in a footnote.
Corrections
If something we publish is inaccurate or has gone out of date, write to us and we will review it. Features and availability change often; we would rather fix a page than defend it.
Transparency about commercial relationships
Veralix Map is a commercially supported website. The homepage article is sponsored content, and the links to the featured product are affiliate links. If a reader goes on to use or purchase something after following one of those links, this website may receive compensation from the advertiser or its affiliate network.
That compensation does not add anything to the price a reader pays, and it does not buy a guarantee of positive coverage — the caveats above sit on the same page as the promotion. Full details are set out in our Advertising Disclaimer.
Who we write for
Our audience is general-interest: people who take a few trips a year, who are not travel professionals, and who want a straightforward explanation before handing their planning to an assistant. Content is written in US English and reflects US consumer-privacy expectations, including the rights described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not provide legal, financial, medical or professional advice of any kind, and nothing on this website should be treated as such.
